On Saturday, April 26, 2025 a coalition of the Energy Justice Law & Policy Center, New RoAR, local environmental advocates, students, and community partners are hosting a fun-filled day celebrating our beautiful planet.  

At 1 pm and again at 2:30 pm there will be a Tour & Teach-In that will take participants on an interactive journey through New Rochelle’s environmental history, air quality concerns, and green space access. The tour will highlight key locations where climate, policy, and community intersect—including sites impacted by environmental injustice and those leading the way in sustainability efforts.

Let’s come together to appreciate and protect our environment. Bring your friends and family for a day of education and community spirit!  The tour bus will leave from the New Rochelle High School House 4 parking lot (North Avenue and Braemar Ave).   The event is free.  Seating is limited and you must register in advance.  Eventbrite Registration
